July Happenings!

Yippy!!! I'm finally back!

Okie! I won't make any lame excuses for my disappearance. Mops and Pops, you better explain yourself. Anyhow, let's get straight to the topic of this post (",)

July! *Scratch head*Hmm... Any adventures to tell?

Definitely! *Nod Nod frantically"

What can I say? My life is like a roller coaster. With ups and downs.

Ups - because pops treated me to a nice ROMANTIC dinner with mops. (Hey! I was the candle okie. Small and "dim") Apart from that, mops brought me on a short holiday to Ipoh, Malaysia to visit my maternal grandparents.

Ah! I know everyone must be probably wondering at this moment if am I half Singaporean/Malaysian. Well, the answer is "NO". I am 100% Singaporean.

Oh rightie ... check out the family of three and their "candlelight" dinner at Whitebait and Kale.

This is my maternal grandma. She was trying to steal a *kiss* from me.

Downs - because I bumped my head twice. I was badly bruised and nearly got a "pop pop" on my head. Poor me! The first bump was a big deal and I was pretty much unscathed. No bruise and no "pop pop", only a little "boo hoo hoo" from me. The second one however was really bad. The bruise just appeared within minutes after the bump. It was red and sore and I could feel the "pop pop" trying to make its presence felt on my forehead. Ouch!!!!

Can you see the *chocolate chip*? Not delicious at all.

The "chocolate chip" is more or less gone now and I am back to my handsome self once again. YEAH!

What an exciting July for me!

Guess who joined the Army!

Hello Everyone,

Sorry for not following up with new post recently. I have been asking Papa and Mama to be more expedient in keeping up with all my adventures. Unfortunately, they are both very busy people.

As you all know, Papa is in the Navy. It's a great job and I've even visited his working place before. (See Navy Open House post)

I know for certain that I will definitely want to be in the Navy for National Service when I grow up. Interestingly enough, recently the Army does seem not too bad at all. It's so interesting that all the TV people whom I always watch are donning the Army uniform. (I love TV by the way)

Here are an interesting picture.

Yep. It's CPT Felicia Chin. I think she is much much better a recruitment tool that L.I.V.E. concept.

All the older boys are so going to think that Army is cooler. *Sigh!*

Okay, stay tuned for my Jurassic Park Adventure in my next post.

Daddy, the Flying Man

Hello Folks,

I was just wondering if anyone here happens to be a fan of the popular Sci-fi show Heroes?

More specifically, are they a fan of the in the middle of Good and Evil character Nathan Petrelli ? He is otherwise known as the Flying Man because of his super ability to fly.

Well, I'm a fan of the Flying Man but not Nathan Petrelli though. My personal hero is none other than my Daddy O'. The question here is, can Dad really fly? I couldn't believe it at first and then I saw it first hand. Well, not exactly first hand but Mama made a video of Daddy flying while I was snoozing away.

Here it is... Daddy the Flying Man.

Cool isn't it? He will always be my hero.

What's for DINNER?

Sound familar eh! This is one question that most of us (or should I say all of us) will ask at least once every other day.

What's for dinner tonight?

I did try to ask mops the question but she has never answered me. YES... till now! Hrrummp! What's wrong with grown-ups? They just don't understand us. Aha! This sounds familar too .. .. .. Hahaha!

Rather than to ask mops the same old question (with no reply) over and over again, I've decided to follow her to the wet market and find out for myself what are the usual buys. Hmm.mm *scratch head* I think from the stuffs mops buy, I should be able to tell what's for dinner eh! *oh-so-yummy-tongue-roll*

Then again, see what I found out . . . . . .

Oh no! Guess what I saw.... scary bloody headless fishes with just their bodies lying around. What's Uncle Fish doing? Hmm.mm better keep mum and not say anything.

It was indeed a nail-biting experience for me.

This is the ultimate. Froggy for dinner? Tonight? Nnnoooo.......

The rest of the marketing was fine. The stuffs that mops bought looked pretty safe and "edible". Veggies, poultry and dry goods. Well, I hope those froggy are not for me though *pray hard*

What's for dinner tonight? Oh noooo...... *shivers*

Feature of the Month - My Room!

Yes. I have my own room. A room that I am proud of. I moved in when I hit one. Pops thought I was old enough to sleep by myself and shouldn't bunk in with him anymore. I *sob sob* in the beginning and just don't want mops to leave me in my new room. It was strange. It was cold as there was no family warmth. I miss the nightly "family hug". I miss the cuddle cuddle. I simply miss pops and mops. *Boo hoo hoo*

Aha! But everything's fine now. I am a BIG boy and I can sleep on my own. I need my OWN space...haha!

I am sure many of you would be interested to know how my room looks like. Today, I'm going to give a virtual tour on my room. In addition to that, I've also snapped a picture of my "play corner" in the living room. Enjoy the pictures (",)

Full view of the room. As you walk in, you'll see my desk on the right and cot on the left. My reading corner faces the window.

My reading corner. On the right of the book shelf is my toy cupboard. (Not shown)

My cosy bed and little friends!

So, this is what you can find inside my cot.

This is what you'll see on my desk (",)

My play area in the living room.

Me playing with my toys in the living room. Mops just took the pic this morning.

So, what do you think of my room? I think it is nice and cosy. Don't you all agree?
