End of Term Party

Party Time!

Hippee! I love party. Party is all about good food and great fun, don't you all agree? To me, it's a day I'm spared from my "supposedly tasty nutritious" porridge. *Grinz* Right! Let me share with you what were the goodies served. There were cheese, yogurt, bee hoon, pasta, sausages, fish fingers, chicken nuggets, cakes, chips, muffins ... etc. Sorry folks, that's so much I remembered. Haiz! No photo to show.

Hang on, but I do have other nice photos to show.

The boys! Me, Euan, Cedrick and Bill playing with the drum.

Roslyn and Lucien. And, all my cutie friends behind.

My lovely parents and me!

Playing Peek-a-Boo with Papa. See how happy I was.

Graduating class photo.

Gosh! I was a proud baby today. Don't you realise that Pops was the only Daddy in the photo? Yes! My Daddy was the only daddy at the party. He's so sweet. He took time off from work just to be there with me and Mops.

I am so HAPPY! YEah!

Bribes . . . .

Aha! Evidence of bribery . . .

My favorite marshmallows and gummies

Then again, what's bribery? *Scratch head* Shouldn't it be considered as *sharing*? I've been taught by pops and mops that offering goodie foods or sweets to my little friends is considered as sharing. Hmm.mm then again, he's not my "little friend". He is my "big" friend (",). Maybe that is why it's bribery and not sharing. Haiz! Adults are complicated people. Share-share is spread of kindness and generosity, not bribery dear pops and mops.

Thanks Uncle RF! Hmm.mm hope you have no ulterior motives in offering me these yummies eh!

Yippee! I have 1000 visitors!

Hello visitors of Little Lucien Adventures!

Mama and Papa just told me that I've got 1000 thousand unique visitors who have visited my blog to read my humble adventures. Of course, I haven't got a clue how many of those are repeat visitors less Auntie Sok Jing and some really good friends of Papa and Mama.

Well, part of the reason is also because no-one ever leaves comments for my post. Nevertheless, this blog will go on.

It's driven by Mama and Papa's love for me so that every detail of my fast passing childhood will be captured in this digital space.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Blogger for their excellent service and hosting my little webbie. I'll definitely ask Papa to invest and own some Google stock.

It's a new milestone!

By the way, I haven't quite figured out how much is 1000 actually. How many hands and feets is that? *scratch head*

Happy 42nd Birthday, Singapore!

Until today, I didn't know that this small little island that I'm living in has got a birthday. It's amazing that even a non-living thing has *birth*- Day. I have never heard mops mentioning this during her science class. (Scratch head)

Hee! FYI, I've attended science lessons at young "tender" fetal age of 2 months old when I was inside mops' tummy. Hah! *Tink Tink* Too young to know anything before that eh. Still a "small" dot!

Happy 42nd Birthday Singapore!

Many reasons why I celebrate this special day........

i) I am a proud citizen of Singapore

ii) The country has done WELL!

iii) Pops and Mops get a day off from work (",)

iv) Lovely national parade performance and fireworks!

v) I am a PATRIOT! *watch this*

First Day of School

Like any other little boys and girls, I have problem waking up at 8am for school. It is just too early for ME! "Yawn Yawn" I need my beauty... Oops! ...I mean baby sleep. Haha!

Wheee! School was fun. I make so many friends today and the youngest is only 10 months old. My class size is really small, about 10 boys (including me) and 2 girls. Pretty manageable for the 3 teachers.

I am sure everyone is interested to know what I did on my first day of school. Right! Let me briefly run through what I did this morning

1. Get to know my little friends (tumble around with them on the play mat)

2. Sing the "Good Morning" song
(It goes like .... good morning good morning good morning to you. Good morning good morning good morning to Lucien, good morning to you.)

3. Story telling

4. Magic box (It contains the materials for the day's surprise activity) It can be for art and craft, puppet show etc.

5. Art and craft time

6. Tea break

7. Outdoor play (Water theme for this week)

8. Sing songs

9. Home sweet home

Wow! This sure looks packed for a 1.5 hours lesson. (",)

If you wanna know more about my first day of school, check out the following vidoes.

This was taken at the corridor before the teacher allowed us into the class. The boy and girl are my seniors in school. We are not in the same class.

This was taken during the "magic box" time. All wanting to know what's inside the box. Look out for my friend, Nicholas, making funny expression at the end of the clip.

Art and craft time. Show off my creative-talent time.

Outdoor play time.

I'm Going to School!

Hello Folks!

Recently, Daddy has found his way back to continual learning. He has committed himself to the CFA program in hope that this knowledge will be useful in his second career. After all, the former CDF (Chief of Defence Force) MG Ng Yat Chung (NS) is now the MD of Temasek Holdings.

Then again, Daddy is no where near to becoming CDF in the first place. Haha...

Well, since I'm the chip off the old block, I've decided to join my daddy in the common pursuit of knowledge. Mama brought me to a school the other day and I totally loved it. I was toddling around the compound exploring every class room. Mama sensing my enthusiasm signed me up to join the remaining semester of the whole 4 weeks.

Here, take a look at my new school bag!

My new schoolbag from Julia Gabriel in a lovely red!

My first lesson starts tomorrow. Guess what! It's a water theme and that means I will be getting some splish splash time! Mama had to do some preparation however, in order for me to participate in the activity tomorrow. Apart from getting swim pants for me which I have a few, I had to get Aqua-diapers! Imagine that!

Hmm...Swim Pants. What to wear? What to wear? I'm spoilt for choice.

Aqua-Diapers!

Okay, looks like I'm all set for school tomorrow so stay tuned for more updates!

Actually, I do have one question though. Since diapers are suppose to soak up water, wouldn't my diapers dry up the pool when I jump in? *scratch head*

Oh well! Tata~!
