Tang Yuan, Anyone?

Another year gone and it's time for "tang yuan" again.

I don't rememeber eating any "tang yuan" last year. Well, then again, I think Mops won't want any of these glutinous rice balls getting themselves stuck inside my tum-tum. Come on, I was only 8 months old last "tang yuan" festival! Too young for these sticky fellas! (",)

Let me tell you all a secret, Mops loves to eat "tang yuan" and she's definitely not going to give it a miss this year. Just for her darling me, instead of buying the ready-to-eat "tang yuan", she made her own mini "tang yuan". Don't you think my Mops is sweet . . .

Check out my baby "tang yuan" . . .

My mini "Tang Yuan". Mops told me I can only have two. Haiz!

I'm only allowed to scope 2 into my bowl.
Can I have more, please?

Look what I've got in my bowl . . . .

My New Hair Cut

Time to say "bye-bye" to bad-hair-days!

I am glad that Mops finally realised that I've not been looking "SHARP" for the past weeks and she decides to do something to make me look my best again (",).

The Mini Makeover! The process . . .

Getting my hair cut.

Now you know why I can sit still through . .
All you need is to give me a lolly (",)

Dad and Mum Wedding Anniversary Part II

Yup!! Continue from previous post . . . Pops and Mops' 3rd wedding anniversary.

Poor Mops and I were stranded at home on 5th Dec 07 because Pops was out sailing. Well, after a long wait, Mops had her make-up post-anniversary celebration today. Yeah! *Clap* I was very pleased to be invited to their candle-light dinner.

For a change, we had buffet instead of the usual course dinner. It was my 1st buffet. Anyway, be it buffet or course dinner, it's not going to make a difference for small tot like me. How much can I eat????

Well, somehow, I enjoyed my "buffet". It was great. I had soup, freshly baked bread, corn-on-the-cob (my favorite), roast beef and melons. Mops was surprised that I managed to sit through the whole dinner without making a din at the restaurant. Hmm.mm I think the foods were just too yummy to resist. Rather than wondering /or running aimlessly around the hotel compound, I chose to load my tummy with good food for once.

Our dinner!

I apologise for the "gloomy dark" photos . . hmmm.. then again. . aren't it supposed to be candle-lit dinner (",)

Hi to all my Blog fans! Enjoying my fave, corn-on-the-cob.

Distracted by the yummy food on the next table.

What I want to be when I grow up?

I *think* I want to be a photograher when I grow up . . Haha!

Yup! Today, I want to be a photographer. I'd became one! I went around the house with Mama's phone . . snap-snap-snap! After looking through my *portfolio*, I'm sure you'll think I am a young promising photographer in making . . . hee hee!

Parties' Time

Party party time....

I had a fun-filled weekend. A school party and a wedding. Enough to bail me out of a boring weekend.... hooray!

The school party was nice. I had great food, great fun and received a little pressie from Santa. I met Mr Santa Claus at the party. What a surprise? I thought Mr Santa would come down through the chimney like what most books described, instead, he strolled into my classroom. Not a single reindeers in sight but he sure did not forgot the most important thing. The big red Santa's bag (",)

Some of my classmates were boo boo-ing away when they saw Mr Santa Claus. Proud to say, I was one brave boy. I was the only one in class who shook hands with him and sat on his lap. I did well eh!

Proudly present lovely photos to show all my dear fans . . . . . .

I was dressed to the theme, red shirt and pair of reindeer antlers.

Making funny expressions at Mops' camera.

Don't be shy . . . . time to dig in . . . yummy!

Grandpa and grandma were also invited to the party. Check out our family photo. And, of course, me and Mr Santa Claus. My little pressie @ the bottom right.

What's next?

Uncle You Song & Aunty Hui Fang's wedding!

Didn't know Uncle You Song was such a romantic dude till I attended his wedding... Haha! Had a tiring but great night "socializing" with all the uncles and aunties. I was so busy eating, drinking, cheering and playing that I did not managed to steal a single wink the whole night. Isn't it what a wedding should be like? Eat, drink and be merry!

The newly wed and the guests.

Hong Kong Holiday

A month after my Hong Kong Trip.........

Mops finally decided to post this. SIgH!

We (Pops, Mops and I) flew off to Hong Kong on 8th Oct. Mops was really excited about the Hong Kong trip. Not as if it was her first visit to Hong Kong but because she's going with her two sweetpeas (",). As for me, I got really "excited" only when I saw the countless number of travellators at Changi Airport...haha!

It was a 4D Hong Kong Disneyland holiday. We spent 2 days in HK disneyland and 2 days in the city. Everything was great except the food. I missed home-cooked food! Nah...honestly speaking, I think the food that I had was just too "bland" to my liking. Oh well, can you imagine fish congee and more fish congee! Come on, I am a gourmet boy. I want good stuff okie (",)

Disneyland was really quiet. Pops and Mops were surprised. They've not seen such quiet "Disneyland" before. Then again, right time for me to be there. Spared from all the queuing and waiting. Okie enough said. I'm sure most of you are more interested in the photos taken during the trip. Enjoy......

Mummy's Big Day

It's my dear Mummy's birthday today!
Happy Birthday, Mummy! *Muack* A big kiss from Lucien (",)

Mummy loves birthday. An occasion she can extort "pressies" from Daddy without feeling guilty... haha! This year her birthday pressie was a trip to Hong Kong with all shopping expenses paid for. Pops' lucky this year. His pocket was not that badly burnt all thanks to me. If not for the fact that I have to take naps every now and then, I'm sure Pops' credit cards would have melted after been swiped innumerably. It was a wise choice to bring me along.

Birthdays are special days for the family. A not-to-be-missed occasion. A day the whole family celebrates, meet up, be merry and enjoy a sumptuous meal together. *Drool*

Let me show you what I mean.

At Made-in-China on 5th October 2007.

Can't wait for the yummy food to be served .... getting ready to scoop scoop....

Mummy's delicious birthday cake. Hmm.. how can Mummy be 1 year old? *Scratch head*

Big thank you to Aunty Gail for taking this nice birthday video

Happy Children's Day!

I'm a day late, AGAIN!

It was Children's Day yesterday. Every kids in Singapore love Children's Day because they all get a day off from school and of course, not forgetting the Children's Day goodies bag (",). Well, I was not as lucky as the big boys and girls. I still have to attend class. "Play class".... haha!

Like other kids, I got my "good-y" bag too. Hmm.mm is it because I'm small, that's why my goodies bag is small too? Ooh! Then again, it's a nice gesture from my school. It's sweet!

Baby telescope and a pack of Meiji Yan Yan chocolate sticks.

Enjoying my Children's Day choco sticks. "Yummi" I love Yan Yan!

Do I looked "scary" with choco smudged all over my mouth? (Center Pic)

My "Morning Freshness" Kit

Something that everyone owns and can't live without unless he /or she is a dirty "meow meow".
Yeah! I finally get my own "morning freshness" kit. My baby toothbrush and banana + apple flavored toothpaste.

Ooh! Hang on! You might start to wonder .. eee...eee Lucien never brushes his teeth for the past one year. Don't get me wrong. Well before this, I do have other baby toothbrushes but without the toothpaste. So, how can I consider my baby toothbrush as my "morning freshness" kit without pairing it with his good friend baby toothpaste ya.

Now, with the yummy tasting banana + apple flavoured toothpaste that Mops just bought, I just smell fruity fresh every morning. I love it!

This is the way I brush my teeth, brush my teeth, brush my teeth.
This is the way I brush my teeth early in the morning.

(Mops sings this every time I brush my teeth...Hee!)

Let me show you how to brush your teeth right.

Hmmm.mm the toothpaste does taste real good. *Yummy Yummy*

Happy Lantern Festival

Happy Lantern Festival to all!

Yeah! Another fun-filled day for me. The once-a-year "Eng Kong Lantern Festival" celebration is here again. Can't imagine I was a small ignorant little tot last lantern festival and this year together with my "flashy" lantern, I participated in the annual Eng Kong Lantern parade. Without fail, every kids in the neighbourhood will turn up for this special ocassion. A day to show off (Oops, I mean parade) their cutie lanterns around, collect the goodies bag and not forgetting the almost-impossible-not-to-win lucky draw. Aha! You might ask what I won ya. Nothing! *Sob Sob*

The lucky draw simply took too long (you can imagine how many prizes there were for me to claim it's the almost-impossible-not-to-win lucky draw). It was well past bedtime and I got too tired and sleepy to wait for my lucky number to be shouted out loud. Well, it's alright. Give other kids a chance to get lucky... haha! *Sour grapes*

My "flashy" lantern!

The must-try traditional xiao zhu mooncake.

My lucky draw ticket which was not at all "lucky". Sigh!

And...... a short video clip of the lantern festival celebration for all. Check it out!

Happy Birthday Daddy!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DADDY!

It's my 2nd celebrating Pop's birthday. I remembered I was still a small "dot dot" when we celebrated Pop's birthday last september.

I was only 5 months old last september. Mops has to carry me for our family photo.

Look at me. I can now sit on my own and even clap for Pops.

Happy B'day to U, Happy B'day to U, Happy B'day to Papa, Happy B'day to U!

Yeah!

Ooh! I was so mesmerized by the birthday song that I made Pops and Mops sing the song to me whenever I clap my little hands. Mops got pretty tired of the birthday song... Haha!

Well, don't regret it Mops. Hmmm.mm your birthday just round the corner eh!

End of Term Party

Party Time!

Hippee! I love party. Party is all about good food and great fun, don't you all agree? To me, it's a day I'm spared from my "supposedly tasty nutritious" porridge. *Grinz* Right! Let me share with you what were the goodies served. There were cheese, yogurt, bee hoon, pasta, sausages, fish fingers, chicken nuggets, cakes, chips, muffins ... etc. Sorry folks, that's so much I remembered. Haiz! No photo to show.

Hang on, but I do have other nice photos to show.

The boys! Me, Euan, Cedrick and Bill playing with the drum.

Roslyn and Lucien. And, all my cutie friends behind.

My lovely parents and me!

Playing Peek-a-Boo with Papa. See how happy I was.

Gosh! I was a proud baby today. Don't you realise that Pops was the only Daddy in the photo? Yes! My Daddy was the only daddy at the party. He's so sweet. He took time off from work just to be there with me and Mops.

I am so HAPPY! YEah!
